Great haul at the Maryville Farmers’ Market this Saturday.
I bought: half a dozen ears of corn, two fat cucumbers, a pair of plump, fresh tomatoes, a pint of blackberries, six freshly dug potatoes, two pounds of apples and a ripe watermelon. All of it came from Blount County farms.
Grand total: 28 bucks.
For locals or people passing through, this thriving little market is worth a stop.
